UNIVERSAL CIGAR SOCKET ADAPTER

ACC612V connects all the battery chargers belonging to the BC range directly to every type of cigar socket (d. 12/18 mm) in a fast and intuitive way: it's possible to input current and to reach directly the battery without to install the standard connector with eyelets provided with the battery charger. If the vehicles aren't provided with the cigar socket, it may be purchased (accessories FS612V & SACC612V).
BMW motorbikes use to have a DIN 4165 cigar socket (d. 12 mm). The range of BC accessories, thanks to the ACC612V, is therefore compatible with the standard equipment of most BMW motorbikes*.

Comfort:
Instead of installing another cable on the vehicle or of using the clamps/crocodile clips to connect to the Battery, you can exploit the standard equipment of the vehicle. It allows a significant saving of time, particularly for cars, making the maintenance of the battery a daily operation: instead of reaching the battery in its vain, the BC be connected through the cigar socket in few seconds. With motorbikes, this accessory allows to avoid disassemble the vehicle every time the battery needs to be charged.

Versatility:
The cigar socket connector will allow you to reach directly the battery of the motorbike or of any other engine-driven vehicle provided with a cigar socket: it's only necessary to verify that the cigar socket works when the vehicle is off.

Safety:
The internal fuse protects from short circuit and most of all the system battery charger + cigar socket adapter is 100% safe for the control unit and other electronic equipment installed on your vehicle. Each product belonging to the family of BC battery chargers, in fact, is designed to avoid extra-current in the electrical system of the vehicle.
Moreover, the input current provided by BC battery chargers is far lower than the output current that the cigar socket is able to provide when it's used as a current output.


(*) Talking about BMW motorbikes, we care to underline that we don't ensure the compatibility of this accessory with all the vehicles produced in 2004/2005 (K series only) and in 2009/2011, since the control unit may not recognize the battery charger. For those vehicles, we can nowadays offer three solutions:

• Installing the STD2V connector with eyelets (already included in the packaging of our battery chargers);
• Connecting your battery charger to the battery through the traditional clamps (cod. 30AMPPZ);
• Purchasing the accessory FS612V or SACC612V.

In all cases the device is connected directly to the battery, avoiding the inconvenience with the control unit.
